Hello, Old Friend

I hate drawing Rafiki, like..a LOT! But as soon as it happened; I knew I had to make a tribute. Very saddened by Robert Guillaume's death. I had been dreading that day ever since I saw a clip of him at The Lion King 3D premiere in a wheelchair, looking very tired...but still optimistic. He lived a full life, and he played a large role in most of our childhoods as the eccentric but lovable Rafiki. Thank you Robert, for making me laugh as a child with your great performance. Rest in peace.

I guess this is an unofficial 'Voices in Heaven 4'. I originally planned on having this be Rafiki and Mufasa in this picture, to simulate the character's deaths..but then I figured that I might as well make it Sarabi instead, considering her voice actress passed away in 1995. We've lost two of our beloved classic TLK cast now, no more please! My inner child can't handle it!
